Setting Moon
Polymer clay earrings. Convex layers: A play of earthly mauves sit on a black convex disk of clay. Encased imitation pearl representing the moon setting over distant hills. Artist created and hand-fired. Disks are 1" wide.
Colorful, whimsical one-of-a-kind art to wear influenced by the 17th-century Japanese technique, Mokume-gane. Starting with hand mixed colors to build final palette the artist adds in detail with pen and ink. Always a bit funky sparked by the serendipitous results of the process.
Your art earrings will be uniquely your own. No two are alike.
